This truly magical winter wedding shoot married two themes - witches and celestial weddings.
Today’s shoot is a dedication to the moody and magical, to the enchanting and ethereal. Fondly themed the ‘Celestial Witch’, this styled shoot was hosted in Blissful Hill in Spicewood, Texas Christi of Crystal Vision Events wanted to create a fine-art, aesthetically gorgeous style for an offbeat or alternative couple with all the incredible details that make an alternative wedding but with a fresh spin.
The shoot was about marrying celestial and witchy/bewitching details in a way that didn’t feel forced, overdone, or trope-ish. If you look closely, a planchette and crystal ball were included as part of the details along with a moon-based oracle deck and Writefully Yours’ incredible minimalist stationery with its beautiful colors and celestial inspiration. A stalk of lavender, geode slide place tags, and a moon-based oracle card graced celestial plates while a dramatic centerpiece with lights intertwined in the florals tied together the tablescape. Each detail was lovingly incorporated and immersed with the theme.
This design was such a labor of love that when it came time to it, there were specific vendors that were required to make this shoot a reality. Luna Moth Flowers, Cakes Rocks, Silk and Glow Beauty, all were such a critical part of making this shoot a reality. Take a look at it and get inspired!
Her wedding dress was a fully embellished silver one with a depe neckline, the groom was rocking a blue suit with a gold and blue tie.
The wedding altar was done with pale greenery, silver and gold foliage and was shaped as a semi-lunar one.
The wedding tablescape was done with black chargers, navy plates with speckles, a centerpiece of candles and marble cards.
The wedding cake was a jaw-dropping one, with incredible celestial tiers and a silver ball on top.
The wedding tablescape was crowned with a super tall centerpiece of usual and dried foliage.
