Today’s real wedding that we are sharing took place at Claregalway Castle, it was romantic, stylish and with a festival feel as the couple are friends with many talented musicians.
As the venue was a castle, the couple wanted the decor to blend perfectly with it, so they opted for rustic style with a little magic. They hired Elk Styling that added beautiful touches hroughout the venue, from the tower, to the courtyard and all throughout the rest of the castle. The pomegranate decor and candelabras give a really luxe, cozy feel to the castle setting. The table plan was of acryl and decorated with eucalyptus – so cool! For a cocktail menu decorators used a chalkboard neon sign.
The bride was wearing a lace wedding dress with no sleeves and an illusion back and neckline. She was wearing rocking heels, which were perfect for a winter wedding. Her hair was romantic waves and she finished off her look with a floral crown. The groom was wearing a grey tweed suit and a dove grey tie, a great choice to feel warm in the winter. The bridesmaids were dressed into white tops and midi grey tulle skirts.
The dessert table was a family effort, with the bride and groom’s mothers, Jean’s sister/best woman, Trish, and family friend Nana all baking up a storm. There was also an incredible cheese tower with fresh fruits for those who don’t love sweets.
