Though winter is far away, we’d like to share this beautiful real wedding to inspire those of you who are getting ready for their winter nuptials. Brimming with rich red, berry and marsala flowers and twinkling romantic light, Jenna and Ross’ Cripps Barn wedding is picture perfect winter wedding inspiration for any of you planning a wedding for the winter months.
For their berry toned winter wedding, Jenna and Ross treated their American and British guests to the best of Britain with a true English style wedding breakfast, complete with Yorkshire pudding, and homemade Piccalilli (a classic British sour pickle snack) wedding favors.
For the reception, Jenna and Ross incorporated a rich berry and marsala colour scheme and geometric shapes throughout their wedding stationery. The wedding was rustic but modern and felt like a winter wonderland. The ceremony took place in the barn in front of a big fire and they had three bonfires outside which really added to the winter wonderland vibe. The winter wonderland look was complimented with lots of fresh rich greenery, berry red bridesmaid dresses and subtle twinkling fairy lights throughout the barn. To represent the American side of the wedding a festive s’mores station was set up, which went down a treat with both English and American guests.
The bride was rocking a stunning art deco inspired wedding dress with an illusion neckline and pearls on the bodice, an illusion back and a feather skirt. She also opted for a veil and gorgeous nude leather shoes that showed off her style. The groom preferred a blue suit and burgundy accessories to fir the color scheme.
