The C Lazy U Ranch in Granby, Colorado sets the scene for a romantic wedding surrounded by the wildlife of the west. For a unique color palette rooted in the landscape of Colorado, the hues of lilac, dusty blue, buttery yellow, wheat, and walnut are used and softened by hues of cream and bone. The painting lines the invitation envelope, with torn edges, walnut calligraphy, and aged paper creating the suite.

The bride’s first gown is a gown with a prairie lace bolero and windswept cascading tulle, inspired by the romance of the west. Her second gown is a billowy gown with large floral statement lace. Her turquoise and diamonds ring is classically west, and her booties are embroidered in blue. Clematis, cosmos, yarrow, sage brush, smokebush, rudbekia, delphinium, and roses in toffee, honey dijon, and koko loko come together to create a floral story rich in color and true to the west.

The ceremony takes place at Woodsie Overlook, overlooking the Willow Creek Reservoir. The floral arbor is lush and romantic with a backdrop of the Rockies. At the reception, lush florals spill from patinaed silver vessels, and candles dot the table. The table is set with wood chargers reminiscent of saddles, antique silver goblets and flatware, and aged paper menus.
