This wedding shoot took place in Bronte country, it was full of handmade boho details and with a wild rustic feel.
Set at Ponden Mill, Stanbury, West Yorkshire, this wedding shoot is full of wintery tones and wild styling. I love the delicate macramé and laser cut details offset against the boho rustic elements. The shoot full of inspiration for the offbeat couple with the outdoors in mind!
The shoot features the most beautiful layered handmade flowing dress, dream catchers and unique truly items of stationary and décor. Shot in the stunning surroundings of Ponden Mill in the heart of beautiful Bronte country, complete with wild ponies.
The wedding dress is ethereal and beautiful, half sheer with a colorful top underneath. The bride was also wearing white flats and a linen cover up with a pompom trim or a crochet one, which has a strong boho feel.
The joining of two souls has such a deep meaning that it goes much wider than the building it is in and the things that are in it, so the stylists wanted the shoot to convey a sense of magic, nature, bohemian style, spirit and connection with the earth and the universe.
The authors of the shoot chose suppliers who hand make their items and who really understood the mix of textures and colors. The whole shoot is inspired by the moon and the stars and bohemian ideals. From the mandala necklace and ring to the dream catchers, to the couple in the cake topper staring at the moon.
The wedding florals were textural with with lots of greenery, which is traditional for boho weddings.
The wedding table setting was done with two fabric runners and a greenery one on top, candles and dream catchers.
The wedding backdrop was made of dream catchers, doilies and ribbons inserted into embroidery hoops.
Greenery in tall vases and a lot of candles is a gorgeous idea, which is also very budget-friendly.
The wedding dress was a sheer handmade one, with a layered skirt and two different coverups - a macrame one and a linen one with a pompom trim.
