If you are looking for floral inspiration for your big day, this is it! This cool New Orleans wedding for $2,000 is filled with gorgeous florals that will just take your breath away!
This wedding was an intimate celebration of the couple’s lives together, the family they have made, and the people that support them. The couple allocated equal parts to their clothing, the florals, and the photographer. The little girls’ linen dresses were handmade by the bride’s mother, who also embroidered their wedding date on them. As the bride is a floral designer, she was giddy to be able to purchase all of her favorite flowers. Daffodils, sweet peas, butterfly ranunculus, and spirea were all in season, which made her so happy! It was such a special treat to be able to work on our wedding flowers.
The couple reserved seating at a local restaurant, Parkway Bakery and Tavern, where everyone could pay for their own meal. This allowed for a laid-back vibe and helped with budget. The bride’s mother also purchased the cake and favors.
When the bride saw this mauve beaded beauty had appliquéd florals and tassels, she knew it was the one. The dress featured a cutout back, and the bride added a large blush pearl headpiece to match it and make her look complete. Her shoes were pastel blue for that ‘something blue’ touch. The groom was wearing a navy suit, a striped tie and a bright floral boutonniere. Get inspired by the pics of this cool below!
