We just can’t get enough of boho weddings, and today we are sharing one of them again. It’s Texas meets the Scottish Highlands wintry boho-inspired shoot. The stylists of Thistle Wynd Productions added a bit of Ralph Lauren style with colors reminiscent of Scottish textiles like cranberry, plum, fig, and gray with brass details.
The shoot took place at Beckendorff Farms, at a barn. The wedding backdrop was an oversized greenery and flower wreath/ swing, this is a great and hot trend in wedding decor now – get inspired! The wedding tablescape was done with burgundy, plum and gold touches, and you can see a lush floral centerpiece done in the same colors. The boho feel was achieved with colored glasses, a textural floral centerpiece and rich hues. The wedding bouquet looked similar but was more wild: dahlias, anemones, thistles, lisianthus and other blooms in rich hues created a wow look. The wedding cake was a black one, with gold foil and sugar flowers.
The dress is Beau by Rue De Seine, a boho lace off the shoulder wedding dress with removable sleeves. She added a hat, which is a modern take on the western/Calvary hat, and trendy creamy tassel earrings. I also love her rare ring of wedgewood and diamonds, it looks unique. As for bridal hair and makeup, the direction was California cool: loose, long, beachy waves with soft makeup, and a beautiful strong brow. The groom wore boots and a belt from Tecovas, a local Austin staple. His suit is Hugo Boss and his bow tie from Eton. He perfectly combined cowboy and boho style in his look.
