Today’s inspired shoot is all about that glow! Jaime at Wild Heart Events envisioned a colorful day filled with iridescent pops and enlisted the help of some talented vendors to help bring the vision to life.
With iridescent trending right now, they decided to bring this concept to a more formal setting at one of their favorite locations, Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara. The team based most of the design off of the rainbow reflections of the silverware, but played off of the lavender and mustard accents. They wanted to present a more contemporary vibe to this classic property with pops of color and mid-century accents. The bride and groom were treated to a bubble entourage, an Anthropologie candle escort display, and iridescent details throughout their big day!
The tablescape was done with pink, purple, lavender, orange and mustard blooms, with colorful glasses and watercolor pink napkins. Lace table runners, striped cutting boards as chargers and bold cutlery were complemented with colorful printed menus. The table was complemented with lucite chairs for a modern feel, and I like this contrast and how many colorful details made the decor vivacious and vibrant.
The bride dazzled in gowns by Alexandra Grecco, both gowns with a plunging neckline and one with long sleeves, the second without sleeves, while the groom looks dapper in a light grey suit from Indochino. The colorful invitation suite was presented by Pigment & Parchment. Bloom Floral & Foliage brought the pretty with this lavender bouquet! And to finish it off, a shimmering drip cake by Lori Stern topped with fresh blooms. Who else is feeling iridescent this season?
