This super stylish wedding shoot is dark, dramatic and full of the most amazing florals and decor. The team involved wanted to create something that was edgy, cool, yet reflective of the Victorian era, using dramatic tones, mixed with dried flowers and tropical greenery. This really created a wow factor, and the two models really add to the sense of style. A really beautiful shoot, showing that elopements can be full of details as well as a style.
This shoot is right on trend with the use of dried floral design, cinematic style photography and bespoke wedding stationery and luxurious tablescape. The editorial concept included an eclectic and dramatic mix of decedent detailing with a color palette that echoes the Victorian adoration for opulence and deep earthy hues and metallic, contrasted against the soft relaxed feel of the bohemian bridal and groomsmen look with an edge of quirk. The florist included both dried florals and big and bold tropical greenery mixing them up.
The beautifully romantic story of elopement, inspired this team to create a dramatic story entirely different from the usual. With a heavy nod towards the drama and mood of the Victorian era including a mix of simple elegant and luxurious fine details to the heavy use of decadent dried foliage displays. All with a heavy inspiration of William Morris’ theatrical home décor work who was once quoted as saying ‘There is no excuse for doing anything which is not strikingly beautiful’.
