The Jam Event and Modern Love Events together with Layered Vintage worked with some high-impact color blocking and super unique textures and create the very first Modern Love Shootout.
Hosted by Luce Loft in San Diego, the Modern Love team shifted gears (partly because of COVID) and offered a shootout for local photographers and creatives. This comprehensive stylized photoshoot had next-level details, and incorporated our new favorite texture in styling: bubble wrap! With color, pattern, and texture on the forefront of the summer style, they brought in a fun, warm and sunny palette with mixed materials such as gingham and bubble wrap to level up their design game.
Juicy colors and modern shapes for this stunning ceremony setup! Jaime has been honing in her woodworking skills and built the ceremony backdrop as a summery play on plaid that Jill adorned with an ombre of florals in color-blocked assortments – complete with marigold and foraged fennel pods (sprayed pink!!) down the aisle. And that golden tulle on Elizabeth Dye ‘Opuntia’ gown is the perfect contrast needed to make the bride pop against the setting. It’s not too surprising to see this bride completely glow in her chic, olive gown designed by Elizabeth Dye. The texture, structure and movement of this dress is completely mesmerizing. This pink ombre bridal bouquet is the tip of the floral iceberg of magic to come from Layered Vintage.
