If you are dreaming of a modern wedding, I have a great source of inspiration for you! Today’s modern wedding shoot shows how you can pull off such a wedding in California. And what better place than Santa Barbara Historical Museum to put it all into action?
The team was inspired by the colors of the late 60’s and early 70’s the dark eggplants, orange-y reds, and deep cranberries, she wanted to create a contemporary wedding editorial that was all about color. Amazing bold florals really created a mood here, and lots of rustic touches soothed and made the shoot more romantic. For the first look, she picked a simple Alexandra Greco dress from Solstice Bride and paired it with modernist jewelry from VLM Jewelry.
For the second look, the team pulled a fitted, short, peplum dress from Stone Fox Bride to wear with gold strappy shoes from Kate Whitcomb. Jess Wilcox put her hair up into a simple chignon and switched up her jewelry. And for her bouquet, bright reds were accented with lavender, cafe tones of Distant Drums. All was paired with a plethora of mustard ribbon called Oro from Tono & Co.
