Greenery for wedding decor has become a huge trend, and today we’ll take a look at a couple who got a lot of greenery and other stylish points in their wedding decor.
Anthony + Sean originally wanted to get married in Big Sur but due to the flood they had to move everything to the Hudson Loft in Downtown LA and incorporated their love of nature throughout with tons of plants mixed in with modern, classic design touches that kept a hint of masculinity. The new venue turned out to be a blank canvas, with rustic brick against white walls, and the couple decided to turn it into a greenhouse-like space to express their love of nature. The guest list was limited to just family and close friends to feel intimate.
Both grooms were wearing matching Ted Baker suits, navy ones with black lapels and black shoes and looked absolutely awesome. The bridesmaids were wearing mismatching pink gowns for a glam feel, and groomsmen were rocking classical tuxedos.
The ceremony space was a long white room and the couple designed and constructed the altar piece – a bright pink triangle representing our respect for the sacrifice of the LGBTQ people. The reception space was full of greenery that refreshed the industrial room. I totally love the black, white and gold color scheme and the elegance that is seen throughout. The wedding cake was a semi-naked one, with fresh blooms and fun pink flamingo toppers.
