If you are looking for a cool place to get married, we have an idea to share! Marco and Carla had a beautiful destination wedding in the medieval village of Castelsardo, on the edge of the sea with views near and far. This Sardinia destination I do was one filled with love, laughter, and a gorgeous lace wedding dress.
Carla wanted to wear something original but at the same time traditional and recalling the colors of her land. It was a floral lace wedding dress with short sleeves and a lace pleated overskirt, the piece look really unique. She was also wearing a chic updo and a coverup for a textural look in the church. The groom was rocking classics, a tuxedo.
Sardinia was chosen by the bride because she loves the sea and consider Castelsardo landscapes highly suggestive and romantic. The decor was made by the couple without being influenced by relatives and friends because the wedding day should reflect the tastes and the peculiarities of the couple. The church was decorated with white florals, and there were blooms in baskets to line up the aisle.
The venue was a neutral one, and decor was rustic and cozy: the wedding centerpieces were made of simple flowers like lavender, baby’s breath and with wheat. There wasn’t much decor because the venue didn’t require it, there were vintage touches that perfectly fitted the venue itself. There was a lot of delicious Italian food served including gorgeous berry pies, here the amazing destination place was a great advantage.
