This vibrant, beachy shoot shows Santorini like you’ve never seen it before: Vlychada Beach is near the village of Tira, and the dramatic cliffs and rocky shore represent the area’s volcanic history.
This scene is as natural as love and just as explosive as love can be, as the beach here in Santorini and the cliffs behind it were formed by a volcanic eruption. The romance of this story creates a backdrop for wedding photography like no other. The color scheme of the shoot is rather unusual for modern beach or coastal weddings: you may see a lot of cream and coral, which is non-traditional yet very bold and cool. The fantastic wedding arch was made using shells, corals and other sea creatures plus dried blooms and herbs. The wedding table was styled with blue textiles, coral glasses and plates, tall candles and lush florals with thistles. All the florals created for the shoot strike with its unique texture and appearance, they look rough as if it’s a natural arrangement not created by humans.
The bridal gown with gypsy influences, by Costerellos, flowed elegantly with the breeze from the sea, creative sleeves, a high neckline and a lace bodice created a unique look. The groom was dressed in white pants, a blue jacket, a white shirt and grey shoes.
The wedding stationary set was hand painted with blue watercolor corals. The wedding cake echoed it with its watercolor blues and a gold rim for elegance. The guest horses from Santorini Horse Riding whispered their own understanding of the deepness of this romance.
