This couple, Jill and Luke, went for a rustic meets extravaganza wedding in Brooklyn and everyone had much fun there.

This bold and fun Brooklyn wedding was filled with personalizing touches and DIYs and I bet you’ll love it – take a look!

The main goal of the wedding was to make sure it was a fun day for everyone. The wedding cost $40,000 and half of the expenses went towards the evening reception at Three’s Brewing. Aside from that, they prioritized the cost of reserving Urban Cowboy and their associated “Treehouse” for two nights (which provided accommodation for most of the immediate families for both nights, the rehearsal dinner venue, the ceremony venue, and a place for everyone to get ready on the day of). The couple saved a lot by not spending much on decorations since both venues had such unique vibes on their own.

The guys had the ceremony in Williamsburg and had to get the family from there to the reception venue so they knew they needed to rent some type of transportation. And it was a unique idea – a Chiken Bus! The guys did a Polaroid guest book, and the cost of the film and a quality Polaroid camera wasn’t cheap, but flipping through the guest book the next day was so much fun. They decided to order local Mexican food the night before the wedding and hosted their immediate families at the Urban Cowboy. It allowed everyone to relax and spend quality time together and it was so much more affordable than booking a restaurant. This wedding is a greta idea how to put your costs and make everyone happy, get inspired!
