This NYC couple decided to choose an unusual theme for their big day, it’s a tropical oasis with mid-century modern and art deco details – all of that in the backdrop of the Big Apple.
The bride is a designer, and she decided to pack her wedding full of vibrant punches + excitement. She designed modern wedding invites to complement the vibrant swatches of color ahead. The wedding ceremony space was done with monstera leaves: there was a large backdrop and an arch covered with them. You may also see some colorful fringe and neon signs – yes, this wedding is full of colors!
The bride was wearing a beautiful and simple tea-length gown by Delphine Manivet. She went for dark green suede heels and a wavy long hair down hairstyle topped with a delicate pearl veil. The groom was wearing a bold blue suit with a light blue tie and brown shoes. The ladies + gents all rocked cool shades of emerald green and navy blue. The bridal bouquet was done in the saturated palette of oranges, pinks, and greens.
The decor included mid-century inspired drink stirrers, the Bertoia chairs and neon signs. The wedding portraits were taken around the city – there just can’t be a better backdrop than this! Have a look at these vivacious pics and get inspired!
