Kiirsta and David’s Ak’iin Beach Club wedding is a nice example of a tropical opulence wedding. The couple opted for a sophisticated vibe with moody colors, luxurious details, and breathtaking floral designs, but they also integrated the laid-back Tulum feel that makes beach weddings extra special.
This combination of tropical details, sophisticated style, and laid-back feels is tropulence at its core, and Diana Romo Weddings did a phenomenal job bringing it all the life! The wedding arch was decorated with lush pink, white and fuchsia blooms and palm leaves, and the backdrop of the ocean was just perfect. The tables were decorated with lush floral centerpieces in the same colors, gold cutlery and black plates plus colored glasses. I love the cocktail stand, which doubled as a seating chart – just putting a straw into a fruit is awesome and so beachy! The wedding lounge was done with rattan chairs, a leather one and an elegant sofa placed right on the beach – so cool!
The bride was wearing a sheath fully embellished wedding dress with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline, a veil, statement earrings and no shoes. The groom was wearing a classic black tux and moccasins. The bridesmaids were rocking mismatching silk slip dresses to feel comfortable on a hot day. The groomsmen were rocking the same as the groom.
