This wedding had a unique theme - 'Til Death Do Us Apart', which is often chosen for Halloween weddings.
Halloween brides and groom, if you are looking for some inspiration, we have it! Rachael and Miguel chose an unusual overall theme – ‘Til Death do us part’ and even the invites had a skull bride and groom on them! Let’s take a closer look at this wedding.
The couple loves skulls and taxidermy and cabaret and all things vintage (especially 20s-50s fashion) so all these things influenced the theme. For the seating plan there was made a graveyard scene in an old picnic hamper, complete with wedding vow gravestones and moss, each table was named after a wedding vow.
The wedding lasted for several days, and there were many guests coming from all over the world. Day one was the ceremony in London, followed by a fish n chip supper at a friend’s restaurant. Day two, everyone went to Park Hall in Worcestershire where they celebrated that evening with a mini beer festival, hog roast, ice cream van and the incredible Urban Voodoo Machine to dance to. Day three included a vintage afternoon tea, a family football match, the wedding breakfast followed by a cabaret show and fire spectacular and dancing till dawn! On the fourth day, everyone enjoyed a chilled brunch before heading home.
The bride wore two dresses, both from Fairy Gothmother, and both bought in a sample sale. There was top-coat handmade by a dressmaker, it was perfect and really finished off the dress.
The bride was wearing two different gowns, this is a long one, with a flattering silhouette, gloves and a birdcage veil.
This antique chapel was a perfect fit for this unusual couple and their no less unusual guests.
The groom was wearing a striped suit, a black shirt, a crazy hairstyle and a braided beard with a moustache.
The wedding table setting was done in black and white, and each place setting was decorated with gold dipped black feathers.
