Today we’re gonna talk about wedding backdrops, cause we have a cool and brilliant idea for you! Of course a wedding backdrop isn’t that thing you need to prepare at first in your to-do list and sometimes many couples refuse it at all, but you should consider advantages of using a backdrop on your wedding day.
First of all, it can set the right atmosphere for your feast and reflect your wedding theme: add some flowers or ribbons and you’ll get a classic and gentle backdrop, use colorful supplies (for example, crepe paper) and you’ll get a very funny and eye-catching one. Secondly we need to say that a wedding backdrop is a very universal décor detail: you just need to choose how you’re gonna use it, for example, as a backdrop at the dance floor, photo booth or ceremony backdrop. All ways will be perfect! Now we wanna share with you an idea of creating a shag backdrop that will be cool for a wedding or bridal shower parties. Let’s start! You’ll need scissors, flagging tape, plastic/polyresin perimeter fence and zipties. First unroll the plastic perimeter fencing and cut in half to get two 7.5 ft lengths. Then lay these two pieces side by side and attach with zipties. Now plot out the design you wish to create with this project and use masking tape to block out the shapes. Next cut strips of flagging tape about 18″ long, allowing variation creates a softer and more playful appearance to the shag. The rest of the tutorial is here. Enjoy!
