Seaside Surfer Wedding With Tropical Details

This couple went for a free-spirited surfer wedding - a whole weekend at the beach.

She’s a free-spirited adventurer with a sweet spot for fashion, he’s a surfer whose love for family runs deep — together, Bree and Brock are a literal California dream come true! They planned a seaside wedding inspired first by those who mean the most to them, punctuated with plenty of color, laughter, tears, and a Spanish-tropical design.

They wanted to make sure that the wedding reflected both their personalities, style, and love for the family. Brock grew up surfing and spending summers in Mexico, so the couple definitely wanted to be married near the water. The list included 200 people, the wedding took place on Friday, and the whole weekend everyone was happy cooking, relaxing and having fun together. The wedding arch was done with bright florals and spray painted tropical leaves, and later it was repurposed as a backdrop for the head table. The wedding tablescapes were done with yellow napkins, amber and yellow glasses, lush yellow and blush floral centerpieces plus maracas as favors. The wedding cake was very whimsy, it was all covered with yellow and rust blooms that were used for decor.

The bride was wearing a fantastic Rue de Seine wedding dress decorated with pearls. Since Bree’s favorite color is yellow, her girls rocked the happy color in adorable off-the-shoulder ruffled dresses. While the gals dazzled in yellow, the guys were outfitted in classic black.
