Santorini has been such a popular destination for elopements this past year, and it’s no surprise why. The island is the perfect backdrop for intimate celebrations, with its whitewashed structures, making everything near it pop! The team from today’s seaside micro wedding shoot out to merge bohemian vibes with a modern attitude.
Think earthy textures like stone, wood and macrame chandeliers, married with the elegance of the romantic and luxe table (the perks of a small celebration). With a smaller guest list, the flexibility in choosing a location and investing your budget leaves couples with endless possibilities. The adorable wedding tablescape was done in non-traditional for Santorini colors, blush blooms, greenery and rust touches plus orange and amber accessories. The wedding reception space was lit up with crystal chandeliers and accented with wooden bead ones. The wedding cake was done in rust shades, with a texture and sugar pieces that seem to be floating over the cake.
The bride was wearing minimalist outfits that highlighted her appearance – a plain maxi wedding dress with a V-neckline and long sleeves plus tan mules and a statement necklace, then a plain cowl neck maxi wedding dress with no sleeves, and then she changed for a modern plain jumpsuit with a draped bodice, short sleeves, cropped and slit pants.
