This gorgeous rustic wedding with a vintage twist took place in Britain, Northumberland, in Healey Barn. And it definitely has a lot of ideas to get you inspired!
The bride chose white and green seasonal flowers and foliage to fill the venue – from ceilings and beams to tables & mantle pieces. The church entrance was also decorated with the same flowers and greenery. The venue was elegant, stylish with plenty of opportunity for to express the couple’s characters. The space looked full, relaxed & contemporary thanks to the addition of some Scandinavian inspired succulents and ferns. The groom’s mum is a very talented artist and kindly drew all 100 guests a personalized illustrated name place using inspiration from guests’ hobbies, pets, home towns.
The wedding dress was from Mirror Mirror Bridal, it was a spaghetti strap white gown with layers of lace and a back detail that looked super sexy. She also went for simple, copper colored strappy sandals from Steve Madden and a beautiful, gold Oscar De La Renta hairband. The bride felt like a bride but herself in such an outfit, and this is the main requirement for a wedding outfit. The groom’s suit was from Walker Slater in Covent Garden. He chose a light weight tweed 3 piece and teamed this with dark brown brogues from Russell and Bromely, his look was rather vintage-inspired, especially with that pocket watch. The bridesmaids wore tassel skirts and plain top, separates is a hot trend.
The wedding cake was a woodland-inspired one, with fresh greenery, ferns and berries. The couple also had personalized cake toppers made from Pegit Dolls on Etsy. The guys got amazing pictures from The Twins, who took them deep into the forest to make the most gorgeous photos.
