What can be cuter than a rustic wedding? A spring rustic wedding! Whether it’s an all-rustic farm wedding or an elegant affair with just some rustic details, full of charm, rustic coziness and refreshing spring touches, a spring rustic wedding will be a super memorable one. Today I’m sharing some adorable ideas to pull off this wedding theme.
What To Wear
Well, speaking about girls – a bride and bridesmaids – it’s easy, choose whatever dresses you like because they all will be amazing. You can rock cowboy boots if it’s a farm wedding, and maybe cover up with denim jackets if it’s chilly. Grooms and groomsmen can really rock rustic attire: tan pants, vests instead of jackets, suspenders and rustic boutonnieres with jute or twine.
Florals
There are many flowers that are ideal for rustic bouquets: daisies, lavender, muscari, various wildflowers and of course baby’s breath – this elegant flower perfectly represents rustic style. You can add a rustic feel with jute or twine wrapping them around bouquets and boutonnieres, and bark can be a cool idea for wrapping.
Table Décor
Choose a rustic table and don’t cover it with a tablecloth, just a table runner. You can also go for wood slices as placemats or for displaying centerpieces. Wooden crates with flowers in jars can make adorable centerpieces. Or rock galvanized buckets with flowers and table numbers, watering cans with flowers or wooden boxes. Jars may be wrapped with jute or twine.
Other Décor Ideas
Milk churns with flowers for aisle décor, barrels and wood slices for displaying food, antique doors with flowers and photos can be great decorations. Make cool rustic chandeliers with mason jars on a tray that hang on a chain. A rustic arch with flowers, hoops with greenery and flowers hanging over the table and baskets are great rustic decorations.
Wedding Cakes
If you want to go really rustic, a birch bark wedding cake with flowers is your choice. But actually you needn’t go that far to get a rustic wedding cake: take a snaked or semi naked one and top it with fresh flowers and greenery. A cheese tower topped with tiny cherry tomatoes is also a great choice.
