Looking for rural and neutral wedding inspiration? We have it for you – today we are sharing a beautiful wedding that took place at a cozy villa in Spain, it was done in nude and neutrals, with lots of greenery, field and exotic flowers mixed together, let’s take a look at it.
The whole wedding took them a year and a half to plan, there were 30 guests, and Villa Ficus de Girona, Spain, became a perfect destination location for it. The couple wanted to incorporate as many cultural details as they could. They provided small wooden fans for girls, straw hats for guys, old style handkerchiefs, rustic style furniture and much more, which blend very well with the rural European villa setting. Each guest got a set of castanets with their name scribed on them.
The food was local, and in addition to usual food, there were high quality meats, full jamon leg at the cocktail reception, iberico steak at dinner, paired up with fresh local vegetables, fruit, and the best Spanish wines. The wedding cake was designed by my maid of honor, who is also a chef. Very elegant, red velvet cake with a creamy frosting, decorated with figs and other fruit which represent local Spanish region.
The bride was wearing a gorgeous white spaghetti strap sheath wedding gown, which was fully embellished, and a long veil. The groom was wearing a light grey wedding suit with a black tie. The bride was carrying a pink textural bouquet and rocking a romantic wavy hairstyle. Get inspired and catch some ideas for your own wedding!
