Today’s wedding took place on the hottest day of the year. Luckily for Jo and Rob they were able to enjoy a lot of their wedding day outside and really make the most of the amazing weather. They chose a relaxed, chilled out day, filled with rustic touches, garden games and lots of fun. They were helped along by many of their friends and family, which proves you don’t need an enormous budget to have an amazing day.
There were lots of flowers, foliage, bunting, fairy lights and homemade touches by themselves and lots of other people who kindly helped/ leant stuff. As for the flowers, they were lots of roses, stocks, peonies and lots of gypsophillia, lavender and rosemary. They also had a kids’ room with various arts and crafts activities, a sweetie shop, piñata and some snacks. The couple served canapes and paella and got a lot of compliments on it.The wedding cake was really stunning and fitted well with the colors and feel of the wedding. It was also delicious and lots of people said it was the best cake they had ever tasted. It had St. Clements cake on the top layer, chocolate in the middle and Victoria sponge at the bottom.
The couple wanted the whole thing to have a very rustic, natural and slightly vintage feel. So the bride was wearing a strapless wedding dress with a full skirt and covered up with an ethereal lace top for the church ceremony. The shoes were silver ankle strap ones with peep toes, and they perfectly matched her cute look. The groom was wearing a navy suit with a pink tie. Enjoy cute and sweet pics of this wedding below!
