We’re continuing the romance today with this ‘La Vie En Rosé’ shoot by Eva Lin Photography complete with a monochromatic pink color story with ‘a nod to French flair and the forever trendy 60s era’. So neat, right? The Event Group channeled the theme with pink on pink details, cotton candy desserts, and of course—lots of rosé.
Instead of a big wedding ceremony, the couple featured in this shoot instead opted for a private and intimate elopement at the courthouse downtown. The couple would then host a chic, cosmopolitan dessert and cocktail evening reception to celebrate their marriage with close friends and family. Not only were the models that participated in the shoot a real life married couple, but they are also both professional ballerinas!
The groom rocked a classic tuxedo, and the bride was wearing a unique strapless pink wedding dress with metallic gold brushstrokes, very unusual! Look at her Badgley Mischka heels, can you imagine anything more gorgeous? They are soft blush and with a lot of embellishments, that’s just beyond stunning!
Lots of pink ranunculus, peonies and roses made a perfect match for the shoot, and they were used for both the bridal bouquet and the table centerpieces. Pink plates and chargers and gold flatware created a delicate and chic table setting. Shades of pink and too-pretty-to-eat desserts were gorgeously captured at the recently opened Coterie Company space in the historic Frick building in downtown Pittsburgh. The cake was an aqua-colored one with fresh blooms and refined gold décor.
