If you are thinking of a destination wedding, if you love romance and beautiful blooms, the wedding we are featuring today will inspire you. The wedding took place in France, at Chateau Soulac, and the couple took full advantage of the place, from delicious French food to taking shots in beautiful settings.
Alice & Rory wanted a relaxed day, not too formal but still very stylish and romantic, with good food and wine. The Chateau they chose featured a perfect combo of rustic charm and modern elegance. With parasols and fans, the couple made sure their ceremony is the sun was enjoyable for all of their guests. The florals were romantic, pretty and very natural: roses, eucalyptus, jasmine, the same could be seen on the tables at the reception. Lots of friends and family contributed to the decoration, giving the day a personal touch.
The bride was wearing a gown by US designer Hayley Paige: a spaghetti strap wedding dress with a heavily embellished bodice and a cool racerback. She added a pair of comfy peep toe wedding shoes and an elegant yet casual updo. The bridesmaids were wearing mismatching blush dresses, and the groom was rocking a navy three-piece suit with a powder blue tie.
The couple selected the best regional food for their menu: confit duck, green beans and dauphinoise potatoes followed by cheeses and a trilogy of mini French desserts. The wedding cake was an elegant neutral one topped with white roses, and the guests received adorable French macarons as favors. Look at the pics below to get inspired!
