Darina is from Ireland, Chris is from New Zealand, but they live in London, so they were faced with the pesky question of how to choose a wedding location. They packed their bags and traveled to Vis island in Croatia. As the island is so striking, Darina and Christopher wanted to keep things simple and elegant. Rather than take over this quaint island they wanted to enhance its natural features. The tiny local church made a beautiful setting to make their vows to one another, the atmosphere intimate and joyous. The flowers, including the bouquets, were all native to Croatia – Darina chose summer favorites lavender, baby breath and peony roses, all perfectly in keeping with the romantic garden reception.
