Though it’s fall, many winter couples are preparing for their weddings very intensively and it’s high time to take a look at some inspiring winter weddings like this one. It’s a gorgeous New Year wedding of two best friends with a magical red wedding dress.
The wedding dress was one of the most exciting and gorgeous gowns I’ve ever seen. It was a gorgeous A-line red off the shoulder wedding dress fitting the bride and her style perfectly, though she wasn’t looking for a colored dress, it was love at first sight. The bridesmaids were wearing elegant navy maxi gowns with lace bodices and sleeves and side slits. The groom was wearing a grey three-piece suit with a red tie to fit the wedding dress. The groomsmen were rocking the same suits but with grey ties to make the groom stand out.
The couple first wanted to get married at Christmas but then decided not to catch people amid Christmas shopping and work parties and chose the period after the holiday. The venue was perfect for winter with its open fires, candles and gorgeous bedrooms. As for decor, the bride wanted an elegant, ethereal, wintery feel and knew that the flowers would include wild flowers, berries and deep reds/plums. If we take catering, the couple had sharing boards to start with meats, cheeses, breads and veg and then a huge cottage pie for main. Dessert was a bit of a showpiece, these were big lemon meringue pies that were torched at the table.
