Today’s forest elopement looks like a real styled shoot as every detail here is polished.
The stylists filled the forest with candles, more greenery and the most gorgeous decor creating a fairy-like ceremony area. The vision for the elopement was adventurous and spontaneous. The couple has a 7-year love story and 2 kids, so a big wedding was out of question: career, schooling, and family got in the way. So, they decided to elope and as their hobby is hiking, this forest elopement idea was a perfect one. It was drizzling during the day but rain on your wedding day signifies good luck – fertility, cleansing, unity, renewal, and tears. The couple’s kids took part in the ceremony and it was extremely sweet.
I’m in love with the wedding altar that represented an antique stone hearth fully covered with moss. Candles in candle holders were placed in various parts of the hearth and around it. The sweetheart table was styled simply, with greenery, LEDs and grey plates and chargers. The wedding cake was a buttercream one decorated with blooms and topped with a nest with an egg.
The bride was wearing a chic A-line wedding dress with a lace bodice and sleeves, a deep neckline and a plain skirt. She also opted for a veil, a red lip and statement earrings. The groom was wearing a classic black tux. Get inspired by this intimate elopement!
