This unique and quirky summer wedding was themed around the pastel colors that the bride in particular really loves, and when she had the idea to get a unicorn there too, so get ready for a whimsical eye-candy!
The couple wanted the day to look and feel like them – magical, playful, happy and colorful. It was hard to find a human-height unicorn but the bride succeeded! The wedding was hosted at Secret Garden in Kent and the ceremony itself was held outside, under a beautiful wooden pergola style structure with arches covered in flowers. Actually, bright blooms were spread everywhere including reception tables. The tables were also done with wood slices and fun table names inspired by Harry Potter.
The bride was wearing a sleeveless lace wedding dress with a train, a shiny celestial headpiece and pink hair. The bridesmaids were wearing mint-colored separates with maxi skirts and embellished tops, soem of them were also rocking colroful hair. The groom was wearing a bright blue suit with a navy waistcoat.
The one thing the bride wishes she knew before starting the DIY was just how much bunting it takes to fill a room – she wishes they’d ordered more! Issy also made their wedding favors which were tiny bottles of glittery alcohol made to look like three different Harry Potter potions. The wedding cake was done with copper and green marble and pink tiers plus bright pink sugar flowers. There were also lots of various sweets and cakies topped with edible blooms and fresh fruits.
