This adventurous UK couple, Lucy and Tom, decided that the Austrian Alps would be the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony, amongst the snowy mountains of Kitzbuhel.
Their wedding venue Bichl Alm had a really warm chalet vibe (despite the freezing temperatures outside) and the couple braved the weather to have their ceremony on the outside terrace. They celebrated right afterwards by jumping on a ski-doo and being driven to the top of the mountain, where they hit the slopes for a couple of runs on their skis. Brilliant! The venue was inside and it felt really like a cabin – so much coziness and so much charm! The tables were decorated with burlap runners, greenery and succulents, with candles and white stationery. Each card was marked with toy skis and sticks for fun. The wedding cake was decorated with ski sticks instead of a usual topper.
The bride was wearing a romantic spaghetti strap wedding dress with a layered skirt, and her bouquet was composed of feathers; the shoes were silver glitter. The groom was wearing a grey three-piece suit. The bridesmaids were rocking light grey maxi dresses with draped bodices and all the girls covered with faux fur.
