It’s high time to enjoy some outdoor weddings as it’s spring and summer is coming. Today’s wedding is filled with sunshine and rustic charm, it featured a heartfelt first look, emotional outdoor ceremony and super stylish reception, and I hope that you’ll get inspired a lot.
The decor theme was rustic, and the color scheme was done with white, ivory and greens, as for florals, the stylists used seeded eucalyptus, rose, dahlias. The wedding took place on a ranch in California with beautiful nature and surrounded by mountains. There were 140 guests and 11 months to plan that gorgeous wedding.
The ceremony took place under a large old tree, which didn’t require any decor – it was beautiful itself. The couple got pictures of their extended families and ancestors and hung the frames on a huge redwood on the property to make a literal “Family Tree.” They also had parasols, lavender bags to toss after the ceremony, lots of antique and rustic boxes, hurricane candles, rustic furniture, etc. There were some personal touches added to decor: invites, save the dates, table markers and signage. The food was family-style, and there was a gluten free dessert table.
The bride was wearing a chic separate with a lace crop top with cap sleeves and a mermaid skirt with lace and a train. The crop top featured a lace illusion back on buttons. Her hair was very romantic: a half updo with waves. The bridesmaids were wearing white midi dresses with a cold shoulder and lace trim. The groom was rocking a light grey suit with a polka dot tie. Get inspired by this family and community-centered wedding!
