It doesn’t get much better than a New Years Day wedding filled with greenery and sweet personal touches! You will love this winter barn wedding from Krystal Kast Photographers.
As it was New Year’s Day, the couple selected winter colors but not too Christmassy: red for the bridesmaids dresses and the groomsmen bowties, but the rest of the decor, including flowers, were all in green and beige tones, which looked perfect with their rustic-inspired theme. They also wanted something like a barn, but a very delicate barn that could be adjusted to a more European rustic style.
The guys wanted to have a multi-cultural wedding, they wanted it to be a different experience for the American guests who had previously been in American weddings, and for the Spanish and international guests who had been in Spanish weddings.
The only DIY detail there was the table number/names, which were just a printed card in which the table names were written. The table names were great however: they were Spanish idioms that the bride translated literally into English so that they would be senseless funny-sounding English sentences and people would have a conversation starter.
The bride was wearing a lace strapless dress and a faux fur coat, whimsy lace heels and a flower headpiece. The groom went for a black tuxedo to look elegant and traditional. The groomsmen also wwore black tuxedos but with red bowties, wwhich echoed with the bridesmaids’ dresses.
