This stylish wedding in Morocco shows that this country isn’t only about boho chic and deserts, it can show beauty in many other ways. Olive groves, neutral blooms and timeless elegance are what you will see at this wedding.
Gabriel grew up in Morocco and still has family in Casablanca. Marrakech was a great halfway point between the family in the USA and the home in Dubai. The desert landscape reminded them of their love of the Dubai dunes, while the Atlas Mountains provided the perfect backdrop to highlight their love for the great outdoors. Villa Taj Marrakech was the venue, and the couple allocated the budget to secure the event space and predominately focused on the guest experience in terms of food and beverage, as well as décor. Traditional musicians and acrobats were invited to the wedding to entertain the guests and give it a cool Moroccan feel.
The wedding colors were dusty rose, sage and off-white, the flowers used were White roses, olive leaves, eucalyptus, cattails. The decor consisted of olive leaves from the local groves, white roses and petals, eucalyptus leaves, and as many candles as they could make work. The wedding tablescapes featured pink tablecloths and greenery and neutral blooms that decorated even candelabras. The wedding cake was a four-tiered lemon cake with raspberry coulis and vanilla buttercream.
The bride was wearing a strapless lace wedding ballgown and a long veil. the groom was wearing a graphite grey three-piece suit, a lavender tie and brown shoes. Take a look at the wedding pics and get inspired!
