Colors And Styles
Yes, you have nautical style but the decor can be also modern, minimalist, vintage, rustic or even tropical, and touches of these styles can be reflected in your reception table decor. The colors come accordingly: classic nautical colors are navy and white but you can spruce up the palette adding aqua, coral or red, gold or gold glitter, black, blush or grey. Touches of green and such colors as turquoise and teal are also welcome.

Choose the linens: a tablecloth can be white or navy and the table runner and napkins can be of an opposite color, this way you’ll create a bold and contrasting look, which is chic. If you want a more refined look, take a navy tablecloth and a greenery runner and go for navy candles in gilded candelholders to make the tablescape jaw-dropping. Continue with a centerpiece, which can be created of driftwood, corals, candle lanterns, seashells, a boat or flowers that match your color scheme. The porcelain is usually white but you may also choose patterned, for example, with compass, a steering wheel or something else like that. Add candles, they can be blue and white, aqua, grey or of other shades that you’ve chosen. I’d recommend to incorporate sea touches into decor to highlight that this is a nautical wedding, it can be a rope knot as a table name holder, some vases and seashells, starfish or coral or something else from the sea.
