Jessica and Jorge chose Son Berga in Mallorca for their wedding as this is where Jorge was brought up, and what a wonderful location!
The wedding took 11 months to plan, the wedding color scheme was greys and earthy colors, and the florals and foliage chosen were eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, white spray roses, white veronica and white lisianthus and olive branch garlands. The main pillars of the decor were simple, elegant and natural. The ceremony took place on the stairs done with cacti, blooms and greenery. There were 3 long tables, with simple green garlands with mixed height glass hurricane vases and candles. Stone colored napkins folded into squares with black and white polaroid photos tied together with brown string. The personal touches were individual photos over each napkin – these were used instead of place cards and we purposefully didn’t add the names to them. This was so that it would encourage everyone to look at each other’s photo and get people talking.
The bride was wearing a plain sheath dress with spaghetti straps and floral appliques on the skirt – such a great contrast in her look! Her shoes were white vintage-inspired ones. The groom and his groomsmen were rocking a black suit with a burgundy tie.
Spain is famous for delicious food, and the couple decided to take the best of it. They served a long appetizer with 13 incredible canapés, local island cheeses & meats and drink, then a dinner and a traditional wedding cake was substituted with mascarpone with macerated strawberries and chocolate.
