Kathryn & Conor are a cool, creative bride and groom whose boho wedding was fun, free-spirited, and filled with thoughtful details for their guests. They held their weekend-long celebration at Drumhalla House in Donegal, and were able to make the venue their own with DIY decor, cool bridal party style, and one massive party.
Kathryn & Conor wanted their wedding to have a boho look and a relaxed feel. Between singing, playing instruments, making canapés and helping decorating, everyone pitched in to help and shared their talents – most of guests became a part of celebration. The bohemian decor was created using simple greenery and structural elements like hoops and bamboo sticks.
Kathryn gave her bridesmaids quite a free reign in choosing their dresses, allowing your ‘maids to choose individual colors, styles and fits is the best way to ensure each girl feels comfortable and allows you to open up the color palette for the rest of the wedding decor and flowers. The whole wedding felt like a mini music festival with BBQ and pizza served and lots of time spent outdoors in the sunshine. The wedding cakes were simple frosted ones and there were chocolate cupcakes to complete the dessert table.
The bride herself was wearing a simple wedding dress with a V-neckline, straps, a waist accent and a small train, a flower crown completed her relaxed boho look. The groom was wearing a grey three-piece suit with a burgundy tie. Get inspired by the pics of their big day below!
