Celestial and galaxy-inspired weddings are number one right now, and we see more and more beautiful shoots and weddings. Today’s wedding shoot is also one of these, it features an awe-inpiring location adorned in a celestial moon and stars theme.
The celestial life is after all one of the most beautiful analogues to the vast and infinite love burning in a married couple’s heart; the moon representing the rhythm of time and life’s cycles, symbolizing eternity, while the stars are a spiritual symbol of new beginnings, guidance and adventure.
The entire palette of the styled shoot was thought around the concept of layers and shades, revealing a personal view on the sky, the moon, the stars, the glow and the darkness. White was used as a background and as a base in order to make all other nuances stand out. The ceremony space was done with a couple of luminous stars and a large dried herb wreath in the center. An irregular blue grey runner flew over the table, reminding there is no uniformity of the colours of the universe. It was completed with touches of gold and amber and with dark grey candles. The stationery and the plates were completely custom made for the project. Both were made in darker shades of grey mixed with midnight blue, painted on top with golden strokes and inspirational words. The shapes of the plates point out the different phases of the moon, paired with dark cutlery.
The groom was wearing a beige linen suit and the bride was rocking a layered dress with a silky headwrap and lacy shoes. Get more of this amazing shoot below!
