This wedding shoot was inspired by Harry Potter and magic on the whole, it showed off refined vintage details and beauty.
Harry Potter fans, welcome! And anyone who loves magic and enchanting – welcome, too! The wedding shoot we are featuring today is about a stylish sorcerer family, it’s a shoot inspired by Harry Potter books and I bet it will excite you just like it excited me!
The woodland colors and motifs were inspired by the Marauders Era of Harry’s father James Potter and his best friends growing up in the 70s in the UK. The stylists showed off hand carved wands as table settings, Hogwarts letters around the fire, antique furniture, and even an incredible rustic spread of food to represent the Hogwarts feast. I love the plates that seem to be made of water drops and some gilded touches – it’s great for an enchanting table setting for a Harry Potter’s wedding.
The stunning lace dress had a vintage feel and looked perfect on the witch bride, and the jewel toned burgundy suit would be any dapper wizard’s dream. She was rocking burgundy velvet heels, forest green eye shadow and a stunning braided updo. The stylist cut groom’s hair on site, giving him a stylish do, and once we placed the round iconic glasses on his nose. Look at the pics below and get inspired!
The bride was wearing a lace sheath dress with an illusion neckline and long sleeves plus a train.
The groom was rocking a dashing burgundy suit with black lapels, his hair was done right on the spot and he got glasses.
The wedding bouquet was done with textural and cascading greenery, burgundy and yellow blooms to embrace the fall.
