This moody meets folksy wedding shoot was done with boho and rustic touches plus a strong homey feel.
Map and Compass Photography gave us a moody and minimalist take on southwest style with this wedding inspiration shoot at Lucky Arrow Retreat!
The team, which included The Social Planner and Wildly Cultivated Floral Design, used clean lines, earthy hues, pops of coral, and lots of dark accents to create a modern feel while keeping the overall look folksy, fresh, and totally unique. Tim the Girl added a farm-to-table feast and switched up the traditional wedding cake for an apple pie to round out the day.
The wedding invitation suite was done in black, white and earthy tones, with calligraphy and even a hand painted map. The bride was wearing a modern plain mermaid wedding dress with a train, long sleeves, a fully embellished illusion back on a row of buttons. Her look was completed with statement earrings and a matching necklace. The groom was wearing a total black look with a button up, pants and shoes.
The wedding ceremony backdrop was done with mesh and blush and white blooms, greenery, dried leaves and pampas grass, it featured a right amount of boho and modern style interwoven. The wedding tablescape was done with an uncovered wooden table, a black runner, candles in wooden holders, a cute floral centerpiece, some simple napkins and food served in pans. The wedding cake was substituted with a fruit pie for a more homey feel.
