Mountains are among the best locations to tie the knot as they are very romantic, feel wild and provide gorgeous views and backdrops for your wedding. Today we are sharing one more mountain elopement that is sure to enchant you!
This gorgeous elopement has all the makings of an ultra-romantic dreamscape: a 19th century train, a mystical mountain, friendly local animals, and one beautiful couple—all meeting in the midst of a low-hanging cloud. Manon and Romain eloped to La Rhune, a mountaintop in the Basque Country with a 360-degree view across Atlantic Ocean and Pyrenees. The couple wanted something wild, natural and moody and they got it: the day was very cloudy. Everyone hopped aboard the Petit Train de la Rhune and arrived to the top.
Manon wore a lovely gown from Angeola with delicate illusion lace on the bodice and a plain skirt. Her hairstyle was a low updo. Romain was rocking white pants and a shirt, a black jacket and tan shoes.
The stylists created a lovely bouquet with a wild, foraged feel to compliment the view, which was also used as a centerpiece. The sweetheart table was done with gilded touches, burgundy candles and colored glass. It took the couple and planners just a month to prepare for the elopement, and the result is really striking!
