Joshua Tree in Southern California is one of the coolest places on the planet, so naturally we fell in love with this styled boho elopement shot in the area at a retreat center called Tumbleweed Sanctuary. The California desert light is magical, as you can see by these gorgeous photos! This shoot makes us want to book our next adventure in Joshua Tree.
Rust, green, navy, orange, and tan are the wedding color inspirations. Roses mixed with more wildflowers and dried orange slices create whimsical centerpieces. Baby succulents and cactus are part of the decor for tables and sitting areas; they also serve as wedding favors for guests to take home. Agate name places become the perfect keepsake for guests, and a macramé curtain and rustic decor showcase a gorgeous naked cake.
The bride was wearing a lace vintage-inspired A-line wedding dress with a V-neckline and bell sleeves, a braided updo and a bright floral crown. The groom was wearing a tan suit, a white button down and an emerald tie plus brown shoes.
The wedding altar was a wooden cross with bright blooms. The wedding tablescape was placed behind a weathered wooden screen with an animal skull to give the space a boho feel. The wedding centerpiece was done in bright shades, with berries and citrus, the plates were floral and orange napkins matched the florals. The wedding cake was semi naked, with gold decor, various dried citrus slices and fresh blooms.
