We are in the middle of summer and it’s high time to get inspired for those amazing winter weddings that are about to come in some months and steal some ideas for your own wedding, of course. Today we are featuring a wedding shoot with a rich color palette and elegant touches, let’s get inspired!
Winter and Christmas weddings are often steeped in tradition but this wedding shoot takes a step away from them. This is a glam winter wedding shoot that mixes timeless style and modern trends beautifully. The stationary was a beautiful deep magenta with copper foiling that really popped when next to the brass and golds on the table. The wedding aisle was done with geometric brass lanterns and soft green foliage. The table was styled with soft green foliage, subtle succulents and various hues of purples and pinks really added that pop of color.
The bride was wearing a super elegant lace wedding dress with an illusion back and a train. The team opted for two beauty looks across the shoot, the first a loose wave with a wrap around plait entwined with small ferns and berries, with a little more subtle with a soft gold smokey eye and a plum lip. For the second look the hair was done with red foliage and thistles. The groom was wearing a navy suit with a bold tie.
The wedding cake was a show-stopper, it featured beautiful gold gilding, geometric shapes and beautifully delicate sugar flowers that really pulled the whole masterpiece together.
