What would a modern fairy-tale look like? I think that today’s elopement will show you that! This is an Irish adventure of an American couple with only 13 guests, let’s take a look!
Stephanie and Jared planned their destination wedding in Dingle from their home town of Nashville, and although it didn’t exactly go off without a hitch (the ring disappeared in the middle of the ceremony!), they wouldn’t change a single moment! From the otherworldly ceremony at Hussey’s Folly, to the intimate meal at Dingle Benner’s Hotel, their big day was hugely personal and effortlessly stylish.
The couple had multiple reasons for choosing Ireland as the location for their big day but the main reason was that they were looking for an adventure. Organizing their big day wasn’t without its challenges. The friends helped the couple with itinerary plans and dinner reservations for non-wedding days, arranging ground transportation for the group, and even contacting the bride’s mother and sisters, whom unfortunately could not attend, for speeches to be read during the wedding dinner as a surprise. Everyone stepped up to help the guys with the execution, and it made the whole trip a very special experience. The wedding reception was done with burgundy and blush blooms and greenery that matched the wedding bouquet.
The bride was wearing an A-line off the shoulder wedding dress with buttons and long sleeves plus a lace veil. The groom was wearing a black suit with a white tie and a waistcoat. The bridesmaids were wearing jewel-toned velvet dresses with various designs.
