I adore this wedding because it mixes everything that I love: modern wedding décor, geometric decorations and pure elegance. If you’re also loving that modern geometric style, you will fall completely in love with today’s elegant Florida wedding from Sarah and Ben. I love how this couple really let their venue shine, choosing a neutral color palette with pops of green and gold to complement the space. The black and white details keep it timeless, while the ferns and geometric centerpieces add a fresh twist, making this intimate wedding one for the books.
The bride wore a diamond pendant necklace of her mother. It was once a 1920’s ring that she re-worked into a pendant and easily my favorite piece of jewelry she owns. The mother of the bride also designed and made both the bridal engagement and wedding band as she is a diamond broker. The bride was also wearing a stunning lace sweetheart wedding dress and ivory heels, which looked modern and chic.
The most important part of the wedding to us was that the day be simple and truly reflect them – from the venue to where they regularly go for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and can continue to visit long after our special day passes to their close-knit, small wedding party of just their siblings and parents.
A few small details added included the geometric hanging pendants from the alter, the centerpieces as well as the table numbers. Their wonderful florists continually referred to the wedding as the West Elm wedding.
