This couple went for an ultra-modern wedding in black and blush and a grand entrance with a helicopter.
Pink and black are a cool, modern and glam color palette and pulling it off for a wedding is a cool idea. Melissa and Trevor pulled it off successfully, and with a family history in aviation, Hangar 21 in Fullerton was the perfect industrial contrast to their glam decor. Wanna see that all and a helicopter entrance? Let’s go!
Their entire venue was decked out with custom acrylic signage, which made for the “wow factor” basically everywhere you turn. The theme was a mix of modern and moody with a touch of glam. The stylists incorporated metallic accents throughout, to make the décor really pop against the industrial style venue, and it got a modern industrial vibe. Hangar 21 is versatile in so many ways, between the large open floor plan, versatile indoor and outdoor entertaining options, lush greenery on the patio, black iron beams and the views of the runway. The couple’s grand entrance included a helicopter ride and that was the icing on the cake.
The bride wore a Justin Alexander lace gown and she Morales added sleeves to channel Melissa’s vision for a classic, romantic, and timeless bridal look. The groom was wearing a grey three-piece suit, a black shirt and a pink tie.
The bouquet recipe: pampas, garden roses, tinted orchids, brownie tulips, Clooney ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, tinted babies breath, bleached ruscus, bleached amaranthus, heliconia, anthurium, cherry blossom.
The bride was wearing a gorgeous A-line lace embellished wedding dress with wide straps and a deep neckline.
The reception was gorgeously done in blush and black, with lots of gold touches for a chic look.
Blush blooms, candle lanterns, black candles and black and gold chairs made the reception super chic.
A flowing overhead floral decoration with pampas grass is a very chic addition to the venue decor.
