Mint is one of the most popular colors for weddings, it’s timeless, fresh and is perfect for spring and summer. I know that spring couples are getting ready, choosing colors and themes, so why not have a look at mint? I’ve prepared different color combos with mint to get you inspired.
Mint + Gold
Mint and gold is one of the classical color combos, which never goes out of style. These two colors are complementing: fresh mint is easily spruced up with gold glitter, besides metallic decor is one of top trends right now. This color combo fits many wedding themes and styles but especially glam, rustic and vintage. Rock cool mint and gold mason jar centrpieces, dresses with belts, flats, stationery, cakes and so on.
Mint + Peach
This is another cute and sweet combo for spring and summer nuptials, it’s totally natural and loved by many couples. Fitting vintage, garden, rustic and just any outdoor weddings, this color scheme is refreshing and no less timeless than the previous mint and gold. The good thing here is that you can rock peach-colored florals to fit your color scheme. If you think that this delicate color combo is a bit boring, spruce it up with gold.
Mint + Lavender
This isn’t the most usual color scheme but it’s a greay way to stand out. Both colors are subtle and extremely tednder, i can’t imagine anything sweeter for a spring wedding. You can get into purple instead of lavender to create more contrasting looks or add neutral shades. Cover your tables with mint table runners or tablcloths, add lavender for a Provence-inspire touch, or try bold purple flowers. Order your desserts and cakes in mint and lavender colors, or just in mint and topped with lavender.
Mint + Grey
Need something more neutral? Then your option is mint and grey! This is a great color scheme that looks more peaceful and less contrasting but still cool and refreshing. Let your groom and his groomsmen rock grey suits with white shirts and chic mint ties or bow ties, mint and grey stationery and centerpieces. If you think that this color scheme isn’t fresh enough or boring, you can highlight it with ivory or gold touches for elegance.
Mint + Navy
This isn’t the most common combo but it’s getting pupularity now. Fresh mint and dark navy colors are rather an elegant combo. Dress groomsmen into navy suits, and bridesmaids into mint dresses, and the maid of honor can stand out in a navy dress. think that it’s too boring? Add ivory or peach to enliven the colors.
Mint + Yellow
This is the most cheerful, bold and spring-like color combo ever! Mint and yellow seem to be created for each other, and such decor raises the mood at once. Rock mint tablecloths, table runners and dishes together with yellow tableware and sunny flowers. Dress your gals into mint gowns and yellow shoes, choose a mint shirt and a yellow bow tie for the groom. These colors are complementing and everything will look good, if you still need some neutral touches, opt for ivory, crispy white or grey.
