Staying true to the kitschy, art deco vibes of Miami, this couple threw a winter wedding that fits right in with all that Florida glamour. Awash in stunning alfresco tables under a sea of twinkle lights planned by Masi Events with jewel toned florals by Ines Naftali, and imagery by Gianny Campos, this celebration sparkles from beginning to confetti ending.
The whole couple’s approach to planning the wedding was creating a party that they would love going to. The bride and groom chose darker, sexier colors and luxurious fabrics, almost as if they had transplanted an NYC winter wedding to Miami. Not to mention there were other fun elements, like a white vintage GT0 ride to the reception, and a black and white checkerboard dance floor. For the cocktail hour they had a live Cuban band and a cigar roller while mojitos were passed around. For the reception they had a traditional Albanian band and incorporated special traditions. The wedding cake was a white one, topped with fresh greenery and berries.
The bride was wearing a gorgeous corset wedding dress on wide straps, with a scoop neckline, an open back and a cool train, she also rocked a veil. What I love is her shoes – these are whimsy Manolo Blahnik ones, with a blue floral print for something blue! The groom was wearing a navy tuxedo with black lapels and black shoes – such a chic and preppy look!
