This isn’t a typical Malibu wedding, this is a gorgeous Italian-inspired affair done with impeccable taste! A winery, rolling hills, views out of a painting created a timeless backdrop for tying the knot, J + E planned a celebration to take everyone’s breath away, and I think that managed to do it successfully.
The couple had a civil ceremony in Venice in the summer and they decided to incorporate that Italian trip into their wedding and took inspiration from it. They found a winery, which reminded them of Tuscany, and showing a slideshow of the holidays in Italy was one of the parts of the wedding.
The bride, Jennifer, was wearing an off the shoulder polka dot wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and some fringe plus a veil for drama. She was wearing black suede T-strap shoes for a playful touch. The groom, Eddie, was rocking a creamy suit with a blue shirt and a creamy bow tie plus black boots.
The wedding tablescapes were done with bare wooden tables, lush florals, pampas grass, which is one of the hot trends, and persimmons and peaches. I’d say, it was a cool take on traditional Italian decor styled for Malibu. The wedding cake had a strong wow effect: the first two tiers were covered with beads, the third was ruffled, and they were all decorated with lush florals that matched the centerpieces. Get inspired!
